The songs me promised, ; 4:53 PM
These are all the songs I promised, although they are a little late. The bands are Relient K with the albums MMHMM, Five scores and Seven years ago and The Birds And The Bee Sides. Anberlin is also another Christian band that I have included, with their album Blueprints for the black market. Creed is the last band, with Human Clay and another album (i'm not so sure). These are all Christian bands, well at least registered under that label, even though it may not sound like it. Listen carefully, because they are all not clear cut. If you want the songs, email me, Bluepigster@gmail.com. I have all of them. Or add me to your msn bluepigster@hotmail.com
Thanks be to God for this great saint whose feast we celebrate today!
About Padre Pio
Padre Pio, a humble Capuchin priest from San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy, was blessed by God in many wonderful and mysterious ways. The most dramatic was the stigmata. Padre Pio bore the wounds of Christ for fifty years!
Among his other gifts were perfume, bilocation, prophecy, conversion, reading of souls, and miraculous cures. People are still being cured through his intercession in ways that cannot be explained by medicine or science.
More important, if less spectacular, are the spiritual healings that take place in all parts of the world! Padre Pio is a powerful intercessor!!
Padre Pio's incorrupt body!
To see him resting so peacefully it's hard to believe that he died 40 years ago!

Tie A Yellow Ribbon 'Round The Ole Oak Tree ; 7:06 PM
I know one version was by Tony Orlando, who performed in Singapore on Tuesday or something, but I'm not too sure who sang version. I got it from here.
The lyrics are very meaningful. This song's used for the Yellow Ribbon project. People were giving yellow ribbons (you didn't need to donate but it was good if you did :D) in church on Sunday. It's to give ex-convicts a second chance.
The lyrics also refer to this:
I'm really still in prison, and my love, she holds the key
A simple yellow ribbon is what I need to set me free
Isn't it so sad the way society discriminates against convicts, not realizing some of them have really converted and just want to fit back into society once more?
I'm not too sure if the Yellow Ribbon thing is still in church this coming Saturday. Neil, do you know?
Hope you enjoyed the song! You can find the lyrics here and find out more about the Yellow Ribbon project here.

A little boy of thirteen
was on his way to school
He heard a crowd of people laughing
and he went to take a look
Thousands were listening
to the stories of one man
He spoke with such wisdom,
even the kids could understand
The hours passed so quickly
the day turned to night
Everyone was hungry
but there was no food in sight
The boy looked in his lunchbox
at the little that he had
He wasn't sure what good it'd do
there were thousands to be fed
But he saw the twinkling eyes of Jesus
the kindness in His smile
and the boy cried out
with the trust of a child
he said:"
Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you willI surrender
Take my fears and inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
to feed them all"
I often think about that boy
when I'm feeling smal
land I worry that the work I do
means nothing at all
But every single tear I cry
is a diamond in His hands
and every door that slams in my face
I will offer up in prayer
So I'll give you every breath that I have
Oh Lord, you can work miracles
All that you need is my "Amen"
Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you willI surrender
Take my fears and inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
I hope it's not too small
I trust in youI trust in you
Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as you willI surrender
Take my fears and inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
no gift is too small
Five loaves and two fishes - Corrinne May

You're my everything ; 11:42 PM
Since i couldn't make it for class last week i decided to rent the movie Bedazzled to give it a shot. I remember watching it when i was 14 and didn't like it very much, but WoW! it sure was a funny show!
Anyways remember in the movie the devil granted 7 wishes? The first wish the guy made was like... be very rich, very powerful etc etc... (ending up as Colombian drug lord).
It got me thinking, what will i wish for if i were in his spot. Then I stumbled upon this video which reminded me that I don't need to make any wish! This is pretty good stuff in my opinion and has been a remedy to my soul from time to time when i'm down.
Basically the guy in the video is supposed to be God and the girl is the one that gets tempted... err, nevermind, just watch it and enjoy! I posted the lyrics as well below in case you can't hear what the heck the music is all about.
